Lost in Green is a collaborative studio for Landscape planning and Design, founded with a philosophy that is deep-rooted in utilising nature as a tool to uplift people and the planet. The name is derived from a feeling that one experiences whilst in nature. Our brand thrives on its commitment to bring people one step closer to nature.
Founded in 2022, Lost in Green is a full-service garden design consultancy. We design everything from courtyard gardens to apartment balconies, office spaces, restaurants, garden accents & more. Our gardens are a collection of carefully curated plants. Our work is recognised for the dense planting style, creating a mini-oasis. We use the basic principles of nature itself and design functional outdoor and indoor gardens. Lost in Green goes beyond aesthetics to foster a deep connection with nature. Arranging each element thoughtfully to mimic ecosystems, we promote gardens that harmonise with the environment.
Founder
Aakanksha Malpani is a landscape designer based in Pune. She is a multi faceted designer with many feathers in her hat.
She completed her four year degree, Bachelor of Fine Arts (Advertising) from Nagpur University in 2003 after which she attended the prestigious National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad where she completed her two years, Masters in Product Design (Lifestyle Accessory Design) in 2009. Her passion for the planet and nature led her to pursue a Master’s Diploma in Ecology. Having 18 years of experience in the design industry, Aakanksha has worked with some of the top design firms in Pune, she has been a visiting faculty in many prestigious design institutes in the city. She is also an artist and has commissioned paintings and murals. It is her deep knowledge in biophilia and her uncontainable passion for nature, in June 2022 she founded Lost in Green.
